Chillax, Parents!

August has been slow to update his blog, but that's just how he is, a laid back kinda guy. Why walk on your own when you could hold on to a wall, or a finger, or just have mom carry you. Why would you worry about developmental progress when there is gardening to be done, or swimming.
On a more promising developmental note, August is talking up a storm. He is mostly into nouns right now, the most popular being: DaDa, Duck!, 'raffe(for giraffe), cat, hat and dog. He has not yet said MaMa, but Mama is trying to remain optimistic and avoid bitter feelings every time she gets called DaDa.
We got clean bill of health from Doctor Willard. Turns out he has an exceptionally gigantic head. So, if all else fails, he plans to join the circus when he turns 18.
All in all things are going well, and August is looking forward to a long hot summer filled with gardening and baby pool time with Stanley the duck.

    So maybe that means that Lilah and August would produce a normal-sized head, since hers seems to be so small compared to all the other kids.

    The pool pic is my favorite. He's doing really well holding his giant head up in the water!!!!
