Jingle Bells

August spent the weekend in Asheville with his fairy godmother, Alice. It snowed and he saw gingerbread houses and Santa at the Grove Park Inn. He thought the gingerbread houses were cool and Santa was scary.

Halloweenies

August had a fun Halloween. He decided to go as the elusive shark-footed rabbit, rarely seen in north America. Mom was confused and Dad was, well, we're still not really sure. Check out the picture of Tim when he was August's age. The resemblance is uncanny.
Anyways, August trick-or-treated at one house, got real jacked on Dum-Dums and peanut butter M&M's and heckled other Trick or treaters as they came to Ya-Ya and DoDaddy's house.

Mooooooo!

August recently made his first trip to the fair.

He saw cows that said "moo"

Sheep that said "baaa"

Ducks that said "quack quack"

And he rode the ponies twice, which was really exciting

Pants are for sissies

August has not been doing a very good job keeping up with his blog. It's mostly because he has been so busy, what with all the destroying there is to be done. He is walking and running and has lots to say about everything, unfortunately, he refuses to do any of these things for the camera. So the video featured here is lame. Here is a photo montage to catch you up on his progress. As you may notice, his current likes are not wearing pants and laying down on the floor for no reason. He really liked this deer, but was convinced that it said "moo"

The livin' is easy

August has had a very fun summer so far. He has spent lots of fun times with Lilah, feeding deer and playing. He also took a nap with a real live french person. He is getting bigger and walking better every day.

The Insatiable Omnivore

A true foodie's work is never done. August got up yesterday morning and began the day by sampling mint, basil and, yes, cayenne pepper, straight out of the garden. He finished out the day with some of the most magnificent kim bob I have ever seen. Todd made us an incredible Korean feast of kim bob, bul go gee, chop chae, which leads me to beleive that he may be a small Asian grandmother trapped in a white man's body.

sippin' on some purple stuff, rollin up stanky

August has been walking. Also, as always, he has been rollin' up stanky. For mandated reporters, the purple stuff would be juice and the stanky would be in his diapers.
